Tripp Smith

Chief Executive Officer

Tripp, a Birmingham, Alabama native, is an alumnus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he  received a bachelor's degree in finance in 1996, master's degree in business administration in 2000 and  a master's degree in health administration in 2002. 

Prior to his current position at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo, Tripp served as administrator/chief operating officer at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Tripp is married to Katherine Hollier Smith, and they have three sons.

 

Dr Richard Liles

Richard A. Liles, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Liles has served as medical director at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo for more than 20 years. He completed his undergraduate degree at Texas A & M University and went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Liles completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and electrodiagnostic medicine.

Richard A. Liles, M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.

Jerry Bishop

Director of Quality/Risk Management

Jerry has over 18 years experience in quality improvement and risk management.  Mr. Bishop is a liscensed risk manager with the state of Florida.  He has obtained a master's degree in public administration, B.S. in healthcare administration and A.S. in medical technology. 
Jacqueline Chalk

Jackie Chalk

Director of Human Resources

Jackie has more than 15 years of human resources management experience and has served as director of human resources at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo since 2006. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ball State University and holds a certification as a professional in human resources.
Judith E Johnson

Judith E. Johnson

Director Financial Services

Since 1990, Judith has served as controller at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo. She earned a degree in accounting from Churchman’s Business College and has more than 26 years of experience in healthcare financial systems management.
Michael McCary, Jr

Michael McCary, Jr.

Director of Facilities Management

Michael has been in the acute care hospital setting for almost 30 years. He initially started in the clinical engineering field and migrated to the facilities management almost 20 years ago.  Currently, Michael is a certified life safety surveyor with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). He is also an active member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, the Florida Healthcare Engineering Association, and the National Fire Protection Association

Mary Robinson

Director Case Management

Mary Robinson, LCSW is the director case management for HealthSouth Largo.  Mary has over 20 years of rehab experience in case management working for the Wellstar Rehab System in Atlanta, HealthSouth Sea Pines and Polinsky Rehab which is now a part of Essentia Healthcare in Duluth, Minnesota.  Mary recently came to HealthSouth Largo from the State of Florida Department of Veterans Affairs where she was working in the veterans homes division.  She graduated from University of Minnesota - Duluth with a bachelor's and master's in social work. 
Kimberly Rosenbers

Kimberly Rosenberg

Director of Marketing Operations

Kimberly brings more than 12 years of marketing and sales experience to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo.  Prior to joining HealthSouth, she served as a regional director in home care overseeing the west coast of Florida.  Kimberly is a certified health education specialist (CHES) and a certified marketing professional (CMP) who earned her bachelor's degrees in community health, focusing on disease prevention and epidemiology from Towson University in Maryland.

Linda Russo

Director of Therapy Operations

Linda has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, 17 years of service at HealthSouth and has been honored as the hospital’s Clinician of the Year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the Medical College of Virginia and earned a master’s degree in gerontology from the University of South Florida. 

Hollie Vaughan

Hollie Vaughn

Chief Nursing Officer

Hollie Vaughan has over 20 years of nursing and leadership experience in healthcare with a focus on quality and patient satisfaction. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University. Prior to joining HealthSouth, she served as interim CNO and assistant CNO in Port Charlotte, Florida. Her previous experience also includes her role as director/nurse manager of an acute care hospital in Johnson City, TN, where she oversaw the operations of a 14 bed ICU, 34 bed progressive care unit, 10 bed vascular progressive care unit, 13 bed cardiac monitor unit and a dialysis unit.
